A Joyful Wedding Day at Highgrove Estate / NC Wedding Photographer

     Virl and Paige’s love story began while they were both working at Pine Needles Golf Club during college. From those first days on the greens to saying “I do” at Highgrove Estate in Fuquay Varina, NC, their journey has been filled with sweetness, laughter, and genuine joy. I was so honored they chose me to capture their wedding day—it couldn’t have been a more beautiful celebration.

     It was an unseasonably mild August day, with a light morning rain leaving the air cool and the colors around the estate vibrant. When I arrived that afternoon at the stunning Highgrove Estate, I was greeted with warm smiles from both Virl and Paige. Their excitement was contagious, and it was clear this would be a day to remember. I had the pleasure of meeting Paige’s father, who quickly had me cracking up with his sense of humor. With a laugh and a big smile, he mentioned this was his first daughter to get married—and that he had three more to go!

     Inside, the bridal suite was bustling with happy energy.  Paige, calm and glowing, took a quiet moment amid the joyful chaos to read heartfelt notes from her bridesmaids before stepping into her gown.  Then it was time to get into her stunning dress.  One of the sweetest moments of the day was the first look. As Virl turned to see his bride, his expression said it all—pure awe and love. Family peeked through the windows, sharing in the magic of that moment.

The ceremony itself was absolutely beautiful. Their flower pup trotted down the aisle to everyone’s delight, setting the tone for a heartfelt and joy-filled celebration. With laughter, happy tears, and vows spoken from the heart, Virl and Paige became husband and wife.  As the evening unfolded, the celebration only grew. The dance floor filled quickly, and it stayed full as guests sang, laughed, and celebrated the night away. It was the perfect reflection of who Virl and Paige are together—fun-loving, kindhearted, and surrounded by so much love.  What an incredible day at Highgrove Estate.
