Village Engagement Session, Pinehurst NC / NC Wedding Photographer

    Dana is from Boston and Margaret is from Pinehurst. Their story began in New Hampshire, where Margaret had moved for work. One evening, while she was out with a friend, Dana jumped into the conversation with what she remembers as a rude interjection—though Dana’s memory of that first meeting sounds a little different. Either way, he clearly made a lasting impression, because the rest is history!

They were recently back in North Carolina for Margaret’s sister’s wedding and decided to make the most of their trip home. That included their Thursday engagement session in the Village of Pinehurst, the place where Margaret grew up, followed by a stop at Sly Fox for a tasting (and of course their signature Devils on Horseback—yum!).

We spent the evening walking around the Village, where I got to see their fun personalities shine. Between the laughter, their playful interactions, and Dana’s unmistakable Boston accent (which felt like a little taste of home for me), the whole session was such a joy.

I cannot wait to celebrate with these two again when their big day arrives!
