Elegant & Joyful Black Tie Wedding Day / It's a beautiful Day at Pinehurst

     I remember meeting Sarah and her mom over FaceTime and immediately felt a connection...as if I was talking to old friends.  Then during their amazing engagement session, I remembered loving getting to spend time with Sarah and Robert.  Sarah radiates JOY!  Which was something I was hearing and witnessing the entire wedding day.  Their friends and family were wonderful and it was such a celebration.

    We were all a little worried about the weather, but there was nothing but sunshine on this wedding day.  I started the day at the Old Pinehurst Chapel.  It is such a sweet spot to get ready!  Sarah greeted me with a beaming smile and said "I am so glad you are here".  I was so excited!  Sarah's sisters helped her get ready and as soon as she got into her gown, they were all in tears.  And if her first look with her father, more tears came.  I am thankful for Chelsea and her makeup magic since not one had running makeup with all the crying...they still looked amazing!

    The ceremony was so special.  I have to admit that I was sobbing as one of Sarah's sisters sang "Ava Maria", which was the song I sang at my brother's wedding over 22 years ago.  She sounded like an angel.  It was truly breath-taking. Once the ceremony was over, they all loaded up into the Trolley and we headed for the Resort....for plenty of pictures!  We had lots of fun and then on to cocktail hour for some of the best food!  The Grand Ballroom never looked this good, all decked out in Carolina Blue and white.  The reception came and went so quickly...and there was a lot of singing and dancing!  Such a wonderful day!  Cheers to Robert and Sarah!  Here's to many more years of laughter, twirls, and nuzzles.  Love you both!
