  Paul lived in a local apartment community where Heather worked...once he moved in he had an issue with his water heater.  She had to give him the bad news that it wouldn't be fixed until after the weekend (he wasn't too happy about the cold showers) but he called her daily and they discovered they had a lot in common...thank goodness for broken water heaters, right?!   They share a love of fishing and the outdoors, love their little pups like they're children, and they are super close with their families.  It was a match made in heaven and Heather knew that he was the one she wanted to be with since they first started dating. They are each other's best friends in life and that's what makes their bond that much stronger.  She remarked "I would be lost without that man!...And starved because I am a terrible cook lol!!"

   They have been together for over 4 years and engaged since Christmas Eve 2017.   Heather's entire family goes to her aunt's house for Christmas Eve every year and they have a feast of food, do a photo booth, and play different fun games together.  Paul took her outside and immediately started tearing up and could barely get the words out.   "You know you're my best friend right?"  She knew what was coming next.  He even picked the most perfect ring in the entire world remembering that long ago Heather auditioned for Belle at Disney because she loves her (and admits to being slightly obsessed).  The ring is the Belle ring from Zales!  He actually waited to propose knowing they were coming out with this very ring and needed it!
