Beautiful Greek Wedding Day in Fayetteville and a Wallace Wedding & Events Reception, NC Wedding photographer

This day started with a big smile from Jonathan as he arrived to the church. He wasn't sure where he was going to get ready, but he was definitely sure he was ready to marry the most beautiful woman in the world. I entered the church where the girls were getting their hair and makeup...there was lot of laughter and I was greeted by Amanda, with her amazing smile beaming across the room. I was also greeted by Mikaela and Maia as we reminisced over Maia's senior session with her horses. It seems like we were just at the Pinehurst Arboretum for Jonathan and Amanda's engagement session. I spent their engagement session getting to know them and hearing all about their families and Jonathan's love for all things camo...he even hoped to add some camoflauge flare to his tux (which he was able to find the perfect socks). One of my favorite things about a wedding day is that I get to see all of the people who made this wedding day possible. The made of honor and aunt who was intimately involved in the planning, the grandmother who hemmed and made final adjustments to the stunning gown, and the couples' parents who were a delight to be around.

Amanda’s bridesmaids were so sweet. Jonathan's groomsmen were so much fun! I honestly felt so undeserving of the compliments they gave us throughout the day...I mean I had not taken a single image yet Jonathan and his best friends were letting me know how much they appreciated the job we were doing. They were so kind, inclusive and encouraging.

There were many highlights to this day. The beautiful Greek ceremony...followed by cheers and dancing. There were also tasty Greek treats! YUMMY! Jonathan's culture was also there in full force during the reception as some of their favorite Latin songs played and everyone was on the dance floor. It's amazing how music speaks to so many hearts and gets the crowd celebrating.

It may have been the last weekend in December but it was a beautiful 70 degrees and sunny. An amazing day to take some beautiful portraits! We were working in high-speed mode after the ceremony to get everything accomplished but you would never know it in their portraits! Jonathan and Amanda are experts. They are such a joy to work with!

This wedding post is the LAST ONE of 2019 and I couldn’t think of a more perfect couple to end with than these two. Jonathan and Amanda, we love you both! Your day was amazing and it was such a privilege to be the ones there to capture it!! Thank you for allowing us to be there!!! I can’t wait to share my favorites!
