A Timeless Summer Wedding for Two Sweethearts at the Fair Barn, Pinehurst / NC Wedding Photographer
From the exquisite landscape and beautiful rooms of the Carolina Hotel to the rustic elegance of The Fair Barn, every moment of Logan and Megan’s summer wedding day in Pinehurst, North Carolina was filled with beauty, joy, and unmistakable Southern charm.
The day began at the iconic Carolina Hotel, where Megan got ready surrounded by her closest friends and family. The hotel’s timeless architecture and soft summer light set a peaceful tone for the morning—Megan slipped into her gown in a suit filled with laughter, happy tears, and the gentle hum of excitement. She shared a joyful first look with her besties and then opened a gift specially wrapped by Logan. Logan, knowing she would be a little stressed, took his time wrapping a small necklace within four or five larger boxes (I lost count). It certainly made her giggle as she opened her gift, finding little messages on each box. She then shared a first look with her father, and off to take pictures. Closeby Logan practiced some putting with his groomsmen, calm and smiling, ready to marry his best friend. As Logan lined up a 50-yard shot, his friends thinking this may take a little while, he exhaled and gently sunk it...on the first try. The men erupted in genuine excitement. This was a sure clue as to how their day would go.
From there, the celebration moved to The Fair Barn, where rustic wood beams and soaring ceilings met soft elegant drapery and floral elegance. The space was transformed into a summer dream with arrangements of blue and white hydrangeas and white roses, echoing the couple’s classic white and blue color palette. The couple shared a first touch with intimate and heartfelt vows. Their vows were personal and full of quiet strength, a reflection of the deep bond they’ve built through their Covid college time. Prior to the ceremony, Megan got to share a moment with her pup, who was excited to see her. As Megan walked down the aisle, all eyes were on her—and on Logan, who was also excited to see her. When they were finally pronounced husband and wife, the cheers were loud, and the smiles were even louder.
After the ceremony, guests enjoyed delicious food from Elliott's Catering (always amazing). The reception was stunning under the barn roof, now glowing with candlelight. Tables were accented with soft blue details and lush floral centerpieces. Every corner of the space felt warm, romantic, and unmistakably them. From heartfelt toasts to a joyful first dance, Logan and Megan filled the night with memories that will linger in hearts for years to come. As the music played and guests danced under twinkle lights, it was clear that this wedding wasn’t just beautiful—it was a true celebration.
To Logan and Megan: May your life together be as graceful and grounded as your wedding day. Here’s to a love that started with a quarantine, grew with laughter, and will last through every season to come.
