Elegant and Timeless Wedding / The Wildberry Farm Wedding, SC

      I must have died and gone to a photographer's heaven.  I am still SWOONING over this wedding day.  I simply love this family.  From our first meeting, something just clicked.  Aaron and Madison's family are the sweetest, most genuine and kind families.  And they raised two wonderful and godly individuals.  I love Maddie's gentle demeanor and beauty that goes much deeper.  She is graceful, joyful, and all-around amazing...and has the heart of Aaron, who is light-hearted, witty, serving and wonderful to be around.  Then you put them into the most beautiful and unique venues in South Carolina and you have a day in heaven.

     Lewis and I arrived early at The Wildberry Farm in Marion South Carolina.  We checked into our treehouse and entered to a beautiful little house and a welcome basket from Aaron and Maddie (this treehouse was equipped with all the amenities...and a hot tub!).  We couldn't wait to get this day started and once we started, it flew by.  There were so many beautiful and sentimental details.  I love when couples incorporate family and their heritage into their special day.  It was perfect!  Maddie was holding a little baby and trying to help calm him.  I found out through our time together how nurturing she is...she definitely gets this quality from her mother, who was offering me food when I arrived.  They were all so welcoming, bringing people into their lives and making them feel like family.  

    Maddie and Aaron shared a first touch and prayer.  Maddie gave him his tie which had a picture of him and his late father, so he can keep him close.  The ceremony was amazing.  I have to say that this ceremony was possibly my favorite.  They exchanged rings and vows and then their family placed a Native American blanket over them.  The family gathered around as the reverend (Maddie's grandfather) prayed over them.  Then there was a song.  This song is one of mine and Lewis's favorites.  It is called "The Blessing". It is also one of my favorite scriptures...Numbers 6:24-26 The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.  Dean's Duets played as two of the couple's friends sang.  They sang so beautifully that the entire chapel was moved...many to tears.  It was truly a blessing to be a part of.

     The reception space was filled with the most beautiful florals, from floor to ceiling.  The couple entered into a party that was full of laughter, lots of amazing food, and plenty of dancing.  It was the best way to spend the day.  Aaron, Maddie, and family, Lewis and I feel so honored that we were chosen for this wonderful and special day.  May the Lord bless you and keep you, make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you.  May the Lord turn His face toward you and give you peace.  Amen. We love you.
