    What a beautiful day for a spring wedding!  I met Dacota and Lyndsay for their engagement session a month ago.  They were so much fun and one of the most joyful couples I have ever had the pleasure of working with.  Meeting them made me all the most excited for their wedding day.  The day finally arrived and it was perfect.  The weather was amazing…it was a bright and sunny day on Oakwood Farms Venue, a sweet venue nestled in Maxton, NC.  Lyndsay was with her mother and best friends.  They were so relaxed (which I don’t always see on a wedding day).  Lyndsay was all smiles and ready to start this day.

     Now I have done many weddings with lots of couples, but I cannot say enough that Dacota and Lyndsay are two of the sweetest and joyful people.  I tend to get a little nervous when I go to a new venue…but this couple just sets you at ease.  Lyndsay is a nurse, so it shouldn’t surprise me, but there is something extra sweet about her.  Then there is Dacota.  He has one of the best serious looks, but it quickly gives way to the nicest smile and laugh.  His serious face is only second to his little girl’s (such a cutie).  I really enjoyed the entire day, but I have to say that there was one part that stood out.  During the ceremony, the preacher asked for their family to join the couple for a blessing.  It was such a touching moment as their family surrounded them and prayed over them.  It’s so wonderful to have a family that will, not only raise this couple up, but pray for them and their future, and help them build their relationship with God at the center.  It made the day even more perfect!

   The day flew by.  There was plenty of laughter, good food, and dancing.  Here are some of my favorites from their wedding day.  Dacota and Lyndsay, congratulations and just remember the best is yet to come!
