Beautiful Pinehurst Wedding Day / NC Wedding Photographer

    Jake and Shannon met in 2013 in college.  Ten years later, they are married!  It was a perfect wedding day from beginning to end.  We met up with Shannon at a cute airbnb where she was hanging with her besties.  Her mom greeted us first, so excited for the day.  Among all the beautiful details was a sixpence.  It is an Irish tradition to place the sixpence in the bride's shoe.  She also showed me a piece of her wedding dress, wrapped gently around her daughter's bouquet along with a necklace given to her by her grandfather.  Such sweet and sentimental details made it an extra special wedding day.  Shannon had newspapers made for the day in place of ceremony programs (such a fun idea) and we celebrated with champagne.  The men also had a fun time celebrating, just putting around.  

     The Fair Barn was all decked out.  Their ceremony was set outside and it was the perfect day for it.  There were horses prancing in the background on the Harness Track and it all seemed to fit perfectly into this day.  their ceremony was full of laughter and then on to a fun time of portraits.  The reception was here before we knew it.  The day seemed to fly by.  There were tender moments on the dance floor and wonderful toasts from the made of honor, Shannon's best friend since pretty much forever, and Jake's brother (another lifetime friendship).  Then the party began...and more and more laughter.  This was a PARTY.  You will see from all the pictures that it seemed like everyone was on the dance floor.  Well here are a couple hundred of my favs from the day.  Congrats, Jake and Shannon!  Cheers to many, many fun-filled years!
