Charming Southern Wedding at The Southern Dream / NC Wedding Photographer

     What a beautiful fall wedding...with what felt like 90 degree weather!  I joke about this weather, but I was so excited to see the sun and feel the warmth.  It was the perfect day for Donovan and Morgan to celebrate with their family and friends.  I arrived at the Southern Dream, a hidden gem in Gibson, NC.  It looked amazing with more white hydrangeas and roses than I can count.  Morgan was relaxing in the bridal sweet, all smiles as she spent the morning with her mom and best friends.  I got the sense that family is very important to this couple.  Morgan shared a very tender first look with her father, which immediately made me think of my girls and how it must feel to let your daughter go...it was such a sweet moment.  Then she took a moment with her brother.  Morgan also carved out some time with her grandmother and when she saw Morgan, her face lit up!  Morgan, holding a picture of her grandfather, gave her grandmother a big hug and they both melted...as did the rest of the room.

    Shortly before the ceremony, Donovan and Morgan held hands and read their private vows.  Then Donovan, after seeing his daughter, Scarlet, come down the aisle, finally saw his bride.  They exchanged vows and rings and a blending of wines to represent the blending of their lives.  It was such a beautiful ceremony.  The day quickly leaped forward to the dances, the dinner, the speeches, and then all the dancing.  It was such a celebration from start to finish as you can see from the images below.  Congratulations, Donovan and Morgan!  I hope you enjoy getting to relive your wedding day!  Just remember, the best is yet to come!!!
