Sweet and Sentimental Engagement Session at The Pinehurst Arboretum / Pinehurst Wedding Photographer

     When I first her Cecile and Chris's story, I knew I just had to meet them.  They met in Austin, TX after they graduated from college. Chris is originally from Boston and Cecile from Chicago.   They had a very sweet engagement story.  Chris surprised Cecile with flowers and champagne on a Friday afternoon after she got home from the office.  The rings he gave her were very special.  There was one sapphire band that her Oma wore as her wedding band, and then two small platinum bands that belonged to her great-grandma and then to her mom before she gave to the two of them.  

   We had the engagement session at the Pinehurst Arboretum, which is a special place to Cecile.  I had so much fun getting to know these two...they were completely adorable.  They will have their celebration at the Fair Barn which is a really special place for her family - her grandma (Joyce Franke) actually led the project to restore/renovate the Fair Barn in the 90s/early 2000s. Her grandma and granpda had their 50th wedding anniversary there and had memorial services for both of them there after they passed.  Such a sweet story and their wedding celebration will be an amazing day!  Here are a few of my favs!
