     I love hearing how my couples met.  The preacher reminded us of their story...the beginning of their happily ever after.  Paul lived in a local apartment community where Heather worked...once he moved in he had an issue with his water heater.  She had to give him the bad news that it wouldn't be fixed until after the weekend (he wasn't too happy about the cold showers) but he called her daily and they discovered they had a lot in common...thank goodness for broken water heaters, right?!   They share a love of fishing and the outdoors, love their little pups like their children, and they are super close with their families.  It was a match made in heaven and Heather knew that he was the one she wanted to be with since they first started dating. 

     They have been engaged since Christmas Eve 2017 and planned their wedding for September 2020…but of course the destroyer of wedding plans (COVID) made them delay.  They choose April 9^th, Mother’s Day, to say I Do.  It was such a perfect day.  Heather and her best people gathered at a beautiful house on the Meadows at Firefly Farm.  I could hear them laugh from downstairs and the laughter continued throughout the day.  Once Heather got into her beautiful Bell gown, her father walked in.  It was so hard for them to keep the tears back.  The ceremony was sweet and I couldn’t help but chuckle at the flower-man…So AWESOME!!!! The day was so amazing…many tears, laughs, dancing, and some great pizza.   It was truly a celebration…a fairytale beginning to, what I am certain will be, a wonderful adventure.
