     After two postponements thanks to COVID, this day FINALLY arrived.  It was so worth the wait.  We met in the heart of downtown Greensboro at the Cadillac Service Garage.  It was the perfect place for this wonderful, sweet, and laid back couple that just wanted to gather with family and friends and truly celebrate their wedding.  We arrived early (as always) and joined the bride, the moms, and one of my sweet past brides, Anne (Jordan's sister).  Emily was calm and ready...Anne was feeding her all-too-adorable son, Harrison, and momma Boyst welcomed us with guest bags (full of goodies) and offered us lunch.  I can talk all day about this amazing family and they joined another amazing family.  What a blessed couple!

    There were so many sweet moments of the day, how can I pick a favorite.  From their first look, which happened moments before the rain came...and then went...Emily's sweet first look with her father, which made me tear up...the hugs their moms exchanged when they lit their unit candles...and the sweet first kiss.  Then there was Emily and her mom running outside to throw helicopter leaves, which is what they do on special occasions, the toasts...oh wait!  Anne's rap to Eminem with Tony backing her up on his Epiphone.  I remember Anne rapping right before her ceremony (which I brought up during their getting ready and Anne got really quiet...I had no clue...LOL!).  

    There was also plenty of dancing...so much that one of the groomsmen recorded me dancing (this doesn't happen often...well I dance, but it usually isn't captured by anyone since I am the one with the camera).  Then they ended the night with sparklers and a rickshaw getaway!  It was a perfect, amazing, stupendous, night!  And it was worth the wait!

     Emily & Jordan, you and your family have our hearts!!!
