Elegant Winter Wedding in Pinehurst, NC / NC Wedding Photographer

     Boy do I love my state of North Carolina.  It never ceases to amaze me.  For December weddings, one would expect some cold temperatures...maybe not a winter scene but at least some frost on the ground.  But when I arrived to see Taylor this past weekend, it was 70 degrees and sunny.  Of course it rained that morning, but by the time I was ready to start, the sun showed up and it started to feel a little more like fall than Christmas time.  But since this was an outdoor ceremony, I don't think anyone complained about the temperatures!  It was an amazing day.  But the weather was not what made it amazing...it was the couple, their family and friends, and the so many sweet moments that made this day so wonderfully and gloriously amazing. 

    There were so many moments, it is hard to pick a favorite.  But I must say that when Cameron saw his bride, his reaction was simply perfect...and then how he kissed her (you could tell he had been waiting for that moment for a long time!  Taylor's dad made a loving and funny speech welcoming Cameron into their family and Taylor's and Cameron's family shared some great memories which gave me a glimpse into how it all began, how they are each other's best friends, and how they are simply head-over-heels in love.  Now I was notified in advanced how this group loves to celebrate...but I don't remember ever seeing that many people on the dance floor.  It was such a celebration!  And I got to see 2 of my 2022 couples dancing and celebrating right along with them. It was such a memorable night and I hope these images will show how this couple is loved, how they love their family and friends, and how they were ready for this wedding!
