Date Night Music

So this month Lewis planned our monthly date night...It's only fair since I have chosen the previous 2...salsa dancing and a cooking class.  My Lew is such a good sport and a ball to be around (he cracks me up with his fine salsa dancing and gnocchi making).

So when Lewis has the option, can you guess what he would choose?  Yup!  Anything that has anything to do with guitars and soulful music.  He discovered Ariel Posen was playing in Charlotte at Midwood Guitar Studio.  Ariel Posen is an amazing singer, songwriter and internationally renowned guitarist.

Lewis planned the entire trip with to-go dinner for the two hour drive...He planned it all...except to what we did after. That I got to choose...and I chose a 24 hour bakery, Amelie's French Bakery and all I can say is OMGOODNESS!!!

It was a wonderful night with some great music followed by delectable desserts.

I would have to say Ariel Posen was a win for a fun date night!  Good news!  He's playing in Italy this year (now that would be a trip to plan).  Now to get him to play in Southern Pines for first Friday.  That would be great!
