Date night Series

Hello, friends! So anyone who follows me on Instagram knows my 2019 goal of being intentional with my time...time with my husband, girls, and friends.  In the spirit of living an intentional life, here is month 2 of my date night series!  (click here if you missed month 1...cooking class). For this one, the men really didn't have much say in the type of date night...and we decided to go for some salsa lessons.  Although our men would rather have their salsa with some chips and beer, they were wonderful sports.  They had me rollin!

Monday, Carolina Dance Works hosts a beginners Salsa class.  Michael Hasson was our instructor for the evening and he was up to the challenge of teaching us how to do some basic moves.  He first offered us some wine...Great idea!  Wine will definitely help!  Once we started, he separated us first into two rows (good idea to avoid stepping on each-others toes).   
He explained that the ladies always start on the right..."just remember that ladies are always right"...I knew I liked Michael for a reason!  He quickly had us dancing together (I use the term loosely), laughing as we attempted a few spins, and even switching partners.  

No one broke anything!  No toes were crushed so we decided to keep the party going at The Sly Fox for some beer, "Goat Cheese Rice Fritters", and "Devils on Horseback"...Bacon wrapped dates stuffed with goat cheese...despite the name, they are heavenly!

So here it is!  Date night for March was a huge success!
