FENDER & TELE'S BIRTHDAY

Jennifer B Photography_2915 Last Christmas we said our good-bye to our Lab, Buckeye.  It was actually 4 days before Christmas. We had already lost his brother the year before...two labs we had gotten as puppies.  Our first babies.  We were all devastated.  It hit my husband, Lewis, the most.  With Lewis attending college for the past 2 years, he spent a lot of time with Buckeye...many late nights of studying, which often lead to them sharing a snack and some cuddle time.  Buckeye had cancer for 3 years but was every bit of a puppy still...enjoying any good treat from dad.  Lewis really made those years the best years for our boy.  

And now the house was silent. And right before Christmas.  Prior to our dogs passing, we discussed not getting any pets for a year.  Well within 48 hours we were traveling 2 hours to bring home two more puppies.  These two puppies have been SOOOO different than our first two.  They chew up EVERYTHING!  Now I recollect our labs eating the bottom half of a door but Fender and Tele have successfully eaten or chewed up everything but a door.  These big fur-balls have found a spot in our hearts and I am forever grateful for them (even as I write this and Fender has successfully attacked an oven mitt I accidentally left out).

So they turned one on the 27th of October.  We decided to give them a nice little birthday with a few gifts (that took 1 day for them to devour).
