Elegant Pinehurst Country Club Wedding...with some Buckeyes / Pinehurst Wedding Photographer
Let's just start off by saying..O...H...I...O!!! Even in Pinehurst NC, I am surrounded by Buckeyes...LOL! I loved everything about this wedding and everything about this couple...and their dog, Bentley. We started out at Kerry's parent's lake house. Kerry was so calm and relaxed...even after Bentley almost dove into the lake to get her a wonderful wedding gift of a couple of geese. She was calm. She was ready. Brett was full of laughs. Always willing to pose for a few shots with his best Dirty Dancing pose (yes I included it!). When he saw his bride, he was so sweet. I remember asking if he could kiss her prior to the ceremony (like anything could stop him? I think not).
The ceremony was perfect. Bentley was excited to see Kerry and Brett was wiping away some tears. They even included a big O...H...I...O from everyone (to include me...luckily Tiffany got the shots since my arms were up in the air and I forgot for a moment that I was supposed to be taking pictures. It was a touching ceremony that included a tradition I never witnessed before in my 10 years...each guest got to hold the rings, wish good thoughts for the couple. And by the time they were ready to exchange the rings, it made it through the hands of every guest and back to the couple. They exchanged the most perfect vows and kissed as Bentley smiled.
Now Brett warned me that this group would be a bit crazy...or maybe he said that he was going to get a bit crazy. Boy was he right. I don't think I ever saw a groom that danced as much as Brett. You will just have to scroll to see but they were both so much fun, as were all the guests. Well, Brett and Kerry, I hope you are enjoying your honeymoon and relaxing somewhere with internet to relive your wedding day...I wish you two all the happiness in the world! And go Bucks!
